The Haras de Jardy located in Marnes-La-Coquette in the Hauts-de-Seine region hosts about ten national and international competitions throughout the year. Among the horse shows organized, three concern dressage:- Grand National Dressage (FFE stage): March 31 - April 3, 2022
- Grand National Dressage 3*(new): June 17 - June 19, 2022
- the Jardy Eventing Show 4* in Eventing: July 14 - July 19, 2022
Super AS Pony: the dressage circuit for juniors
The French Equestrian Federation has set up a circuit for riders aged 16 and under. The mounts are ponies of category D maximum.
This circuit allows the selection of future competitors up to the age of 16 for international events. The circuit which started in October 2021 will end in June 2022. The calendar can be consulted on the FFE website.
International Para-Equestrian Dressage Competition: a high level show
The CPEDI will take place from April 1 to April 3, 2022 at the Pôle International du Cheval in Saint Arnoult in Calvados. The world elite of para dressage will compete in the 10th edition of this competition. Competitors ranked from grade I to grade V according to their handicap will compete against the international elite.
The program consists of three different events: the Team Test, the Individual Championship and the Freestyle. Only the best riders will participate in the Freestyle part. This competition is organized by the association Handi Equi' Compet.
11th edition of the International Dressage Championships: a complete program
The 11th edition of the International Dressage Championships will be held from 19 to 22 May 2022, at the Stade Equestre du Grand Parc in Compiègne in the Oise region.
The best international dressage riders will be present with the program: the CDIO5* and its Nations Cup, a CDI3*, a CDI2*, a CDIU25, a CDIYR, a CDIJ and a CDIP. The youngest riders will also be able to participate in the junior events or the CDI Poneys.
The International Dressage Championships will give riders the opportunity to perfect their program before the World Championships in Herning, Denmark, August 6 to 14, 2022. The intervention of Jean-François Pignon, famous for his equestrian prowess, at the end of the program, will delight the enthusiasts.
International Driving Competition of Saumur : 3 disciplines
For its 37th edition, the International Driving Competition of Saumur will take place from June 2 to June 5, 2022 at the Hippodrome de Verrie in Maine et Loir. Even if this competition is not completely dedicated to dressage, it remains a high level equestrian event. Participants will compete in three disciplines: dressage, marathon and handling.Master Pro Dressage: French Dressage Championship
From July 7 to 10, 2022, the Picardière equestrian center in Vierzon will host the 8th edition of the Master Pro Dressage. About 500 riders from all over France will try to win the title of French champion (from Pro 3 to Pro Elite Grand Prix).French Amateur Open: a great first in 2022
The FFE organizes from July 16 to 24, 2022 a French amateur championship at the Pôle européen du cheval in Le Mans. The qualification period started in 2021 and will end on June 26, 2022.
Registrations will end on July 4, 2022. In order to participate, competitors must accumulate a certain number of points. The competition will include eventing, dressage, hunter jumping and show jumping. This event is a first in the equestrian world.
Dress'in Deauville: one of the must-see dressage competitions in France in 2022
The Dress'in Deauville will take place from July 21st to July 24th 2022 at the Pôle International du Cheval Longines in Deauville. It will bring together the best riders and young hopefuls of the discipline. This year will mark the 10th edition of this event.
Competitors will compete in 8 levels of competition: CDI3*, CDI2*, CDI Amateurs, CDI U25, CDI YH (Young horses), CDI YR (Young riders), CDI J (Juniors), CDI P (Ponies).
Mondial du Lion: the must-see fall event
The Mondial du Lion is a 1 and 2 star eventing competition that will take place from October 20 to 23, 2022. It will be held in the departmental park of Isle Briand, in Le Lion d'Angers. Riders will participate in dressage, cross country and jumping events. Throughout the year, the site hosts about 15 competitions in all disciplines.
The FEI Dressage World Cup circuit will stop at Equita-Eurexpo Lyon
Two events will be organized:- FEI Dressage World CupTM Short Grand Prix, Thursday, October 28, 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Competitors will perform tricks that require a high level of technical mastery.
- FEI Dressage World CupTM Grand Prix Freestyle, Friday, October 29 from 4:00 to 6:40 pm. For this event, aesthetics will count as much as the precision of the movements.
